How to Use the Downloader

1. Paste a public media or playlist URL. The field checks that yt-dlp recognizes downloadable media before it enters the queue.
2. Choose a download method.
3. Use Add URL for more jobs. Each URL can use a different method.
4. Click Download for one job or Download Queue for several.

Download Methods

• Base: Download the original media.
• H264: Create a broadly compatible video, up to 120 minutes.
• GIF: Create a silent GIF, up to 10 minutes.
• MP3: Extract the audio.
• Transcribe: Create a timestamped written transcript with local Whisper.

Supported Sites

These services—and many others supported by yt-dlp—work with media and playlist links. Playlists are limited to 50 items and run in order.
